The Travelling Light Project is an experiment to see if it is possible
to connect with the whole world in the name of art. It explores the
power of the internet and how technological advances in communication
can be used as a tool to connect people across borders.
The project aims to collect an object, a gift, a fragment from every country
on earth - it may be a physical object, sent by mail or a virtual object, sent
by email. Once all 196 objects have been gathered together, they will be
squeezed inside a suitcase and become a travelling theatre performance.
If you would like to help to put the world in a suitcase, please visit the
website www.travellinglightproject.com/ to follow the journey.
I am pleased to participate in this project on behalf of the Netherlands.
