To create a cocoon I've put a few boats on their side. I moved back and
forth with their shape, mirrored some of them, played with their
colors and there they were: the "cocooning" boats :)
(Well, actually it took a bit longer...).

I REALLY like these Eric.
Line! Oh where it takes us. Oh how you played around until you hit on it and we can take our imaginations yon. I especially like the colours you combined in this post.
Yep, cocooning boats! That's great.
like peas in a pod, almost.
tiny boats hugging...
yeah, that's cocooning alright!

Those cocooning boats are great! I love that they come in convenient halves already. No messy spinning around with sticky webs, just step in and pull them close. Brilliant. :D
love your lines
as always
love that you play with forms
to an outcome so pure and simple
thanks for joining and sharing!

cocooning boats, i like that idea
i like the lines and also the ones with texture behind them.
your cocooning boats provide protection to all people, who fight with big waves of their life. love them.

I really enjoy the color combinations you've come up with for these, especially that first one...
In your previous post (love) we saw two forms with no space between them...a semblance of the love between two persons.. And in this new (cocoon) i see again two forms but this time there is an empty space... i think is the mystery that we see when we watch a cocoon, the mystery about what will come when this cocoon "explode". Wood work!
Dear Eric,
I love your colored cocoons! So reduced to the line, to the form, it is amazing! The repeating let them get vibrant, great!
And: may I please invite you to the next drawing challenge?
It is: Metamorphosis ...
